Gen.G is open to transferring their remaining three Counter-Strike players and coach the organization has revealed. Timothy “autimatic” Ta, Kenneth “koosta” Suen, Hansel “BnTeT” Ferdinand, and coach Chris “Elmapuddy” Tebbit are now available should another team wish to claim their services.
Gen.G joins a growing list of teams departing the scene and North American Counter-Strike in particular including Chaos and 100 Thieves. Gen.G join c0ntact as the second Flashpoint team to put their roster on the transfer list. Gen.G joined the CS:GO scene in December 2019 and have struggled to find much success since.
Gen.G gave a statement to Rush B Media in which they explained “we want them to see any offers as we go into 2021. We recognize that it has been a challenging period for professional CS, and we’re looking at how the scene develops into 2021.”
It’s also worth noting that the organization is “willing to waive buyouts if the player[s] wants to go somewhere,” according to the statement.
