Chinese e-commerce company Suning announced that its online shopping platform Suning.com has become an official partner of China’s top League of Legends competition, the League of Legends Pro League.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
With this latest partnership, the LPL has expanded its official partners to 14. Existing LPL partners include Nike, Mercedes-Benz, KFC, smartphone maker OPPO, Harbin Brewery, shampoo brand Clear, Momchilovtsi dairy, Wahaha spring water, SPD Bank, HP, AutoFull, and Intel.
It should be noted that Suning also owns League of Legends team Suning Esports, meaning that it is both a partner to the LPL and a participant.
