NFL executive Bill McCullough announced Friday that he is leaving the company to join esports organization FaZe Clan as its new EVP of content. McCullough was working as the vice president, head of content development at the NFL.
In a statement on LinkedIn, McCullough said:
“Today is my last day at the NFL!! I have accepted the role of EVP of Content for the incredible Esports team Faze Clan. I can’t tell you how excited I am to join this dynamic team and I look forward to achieving greatness with my new family.” He added that he “will always be grateful to the NFL and the people I met during my time there, but it’s time to write the next chapter!!”
McCullough spent nearly two years in the VP head of content development role at the NFL and nearly two more years as VP/creative director. Through the years McCullough has worked in various roles at GoFundMe, GoPro, HBO and HBO Sports, QVC, NewSport, and Wonderland Productions.
