SirActionSlacks looks to create the SACRIFICAL CUP with Arkosh Gaming

Around two weeks ago, Jake “SirActionSlacks” Kanner
announced Arkosh Gaming, with a rather interesting video and a promise to save
the North American Dota 2 scene and now he has followed up on this with an
attempt to create a new event – The SACRIFICAL CUP.

On October 30th, 2020, SirActionSlacks released a video which confirmed that he would be managing a new Dota 2 team in the NA region, Arkosh Gaming. Although the video was, as Slacks goes, a massive meme, it did push forward that the team would be hoping to end the NA Dota 2 drought which has been seen since the beginning of the pandemic. Now, just two weeks later, a post on Reddit appeared from Slacks as he attempts to push forward with his endeavors and make everything a reality.

The post speaks about the creation of a new event which will see the Arkosh squad face off against a “mystery” opponent each week – with teams from every region being a possibility. However, Slacks goes on in his post to say that without much excitement in NA Dota 2 currently, it is tough to gauge whether or not the event will be well received. Additionally, the tournament has no sponsor and as such, has no prize pool other than the MVP of each team getting “1 CURSED PIZZA”.

The SACRIFICAL CUP is slated to feature bit name caster and
rising talent to lead the community through the showmatch, if it occurs and
with the possibility of some of the biggest teams in the game going up against
Arkosh, the games are assured to be fun to watch.

While little is actually known of who is in the Arkosh Gaming roster, there have been hints and clues from Slacks as to who some of the players might be. For now, it seems as though it is a great idea to bring some enjoyment back into the NA Dota 2 scene, especially in the midst of a pandemic and the lack of Minor, Major and The International action. You can find the full Reddit post from SirActionSlacks here and give your ideas and support for the SACRIFICAL CUP.
