The CIS shuffle is in full swing and while the fans are still waiting for news regarding the benched Virtus.pro main roster, one member of that team was already announced to have switched boats.
Igor “iLTW” Filatov seems to have joined a new CIS team formed by Akbar “SoNNeikO” Butaev, the latter announced on his official vk page. Although the team doesn’t have a name yet, SoNNeikO revealed in fact a full roster ready to compete.
SoNNeikO stack from position 1 to 5:
- Igor “iLTW” Filatov
- Egor “Ergon” Kozlo
- Vasily “AfterLife” Shishkin
- Alexander “Immersion” Hmelevskoy
- Akbar “SoNNeikO” Butaev
However, soon after the line-up was announced by the team captain, Virtus.pro General Manager, Sergey Glamazda commented for cybersports.ru that iLTW is still under contract with VP, but while the main squad is placed on an inactive status, the organization allowed him to “participate in trials for other teams, including SoNNeikO’s stack.” However, VP’s General Manager, didn’t mention the contract situation for iLTW in the eventuality of him joining a sponsorless stack.
At the same time, Natus Vincere have also stated for cybersports.ru that Immersion is under contract with them for the time being, but that he is on the transfer list Immersion was recruited by NAVI from Gambit ESport at the end of June this year, but mid September, they made another roster major change and replaced the entire squad with the FlyToMoon roster, benching Immersion and Illias “illias” Ganeev, the only two former members still under contract with them.
Besides iLTW and Immersion’s complicated contractual situation, SoNNeikO’s stack also includes AfterLife, who over the past couple of months has been benched on the Gambit Roster, has played with Team Spirit and Wistrike and currently, he is an inactive member of EXTREMUM.
