Popular streamer Tyler “Ninja” Blevins continues his path towards Hollywood by signing with Creative Artists Agency. CAA is a leading entertainment and sports agency that has represented major entertainment industry names such as J.J. Abrams, Jordan Peele, and Scarlett Johansson, among others. He will continue to be managed by Jessica Blevins, his wife, and attorney Arash Kalili of Loeb & Loeb.
Blevins was previously represented by Loaded, which negotiated his infamous deal with Microsoft’s streaming platform Mixer as well as his return to Twitch following the former’s closure earlier this year.
Earlier this year in a piece for The Esports Observer, entertainment industry veteran Laurie Lockliear discussed Blevins’ pursuit of stardom beyond the gaming space, particularly drawing parallels to the rise of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.
Blevins has already taken steps beyond gaming, publishing a book and graphic novel, as well as shooting a scene for the most recent Jumanji film (which was cut for the official release). Later this year, Blevins and several other gaming influencers including Imane “Pokimane” Anis will appear in the Ryan Reynolds vehicle Free Guy.
