Virtus.pro have made a lineup change with former pro100 player Mareks “YEKINDAR” Galinskis joining the roster in place of Timur “buster” Tulepov. buster will be taking a break from the game the organization revealed. The official tweet also states buster “will come back soon.”
This has left many wondering who buster will return in place of as it doesn’t seem the YEKINDAR move is a temporary one unless he really drops the ball.
In addition to the player swap, Alexey “Flatra” Zlobich has been brought on as a second coach and Maxim “MaAd’ Goncharov has been added as an analytical psychologist. Flatra played 1.6 professionally under Virtus.pro in 2004.
YEKINDAR has been on the radar of many CIS region teams after a spectacular performance throughout his 20-months on pro100. This was the turnaround he needed after being unable to make it work during his trial with forZe in 2018. He was a strong force in pro100’s wins at the DreamHack Delhi Invitational and Qi Banja Luka.
With the rules regarding RMR points and roster changes, Virtus.pro will see itself drop from first to third in the CIS rankings after losing 20% of their previous 1900 points.
