The WePlay! Dota 2 Tug of War: Mad Moon was the first major LAN event that took place on the Dota 2 7.24 patch. The qualifiers for the ESL One LA Major and SLi Minor took place on the same patch, but they were played online. In the first LAN on patch 7.24, Nigma surprised the Dota 2 community by defeating Team Secret 3-2 in the grand finals after trailing 2-0. This was after dropping down to the lower bracket after losing to Team Secret earlier in the tournament. Nigma may not have qualified for the upcoming Major and Minor, but they sure are looking good as they head into an extended break. Let’s take a look at the team and hero statistics for the WePlay Dota 2 Tug of War: Mad Moon.
