XSET signs worlds best all-female CSGO team; will move to North America

XSET has stepped into Counter-Strike with the signing of the all-female lineup formerly known as Originem. The roster had previously played under the Besiktas brand since 2018 but parted ways with the organization in early 2020.

Michaela “mimi” Lintrup was added to the roster early this year and helped the team earn titles at the Ambush Invitational, DreamHack Showdown Summer and Galaxy Racer Invitational.

XSET currently has teams in other popular titles such as Fortnite, Warzone, VALORANT, Rocket League, and more.

The team will be making the move to North America where they’re hoping to make moves towards competing with the higher tier male teams.

The last event the lineup attended against higher level male teams was DreamHack Open Rotterdam 2019. During that event the lineup faced defeats to AVANGAR and Hard Legion in relatively one-sided fashion to finish 7th-8th.

The next time we’ll see the team in similar action is DreamHack Open December from December 10th to 13th where they’ll be facing teams such as sAw and Movistar Riders. They managed to qualify for the event through the Summer Showdown event.

XSET CS:GO lineup:

-Zainab “zAAz” Turkie
-Julia “juliano” Kiran
-Michaela “mimi” Lintrup
-Petra “Petra” Stoker
-Anastasia “kr4sylya” Khlobystina
