Amazon Prime Day Best Nintendo Switch Deals

Amazon Prime Day 2020 is live and there are some stellar deals on Nintendo Switch products, including first-party games and cool accessories. We’ve rounded up the best Nintendo Switch Prime Day deals. We’ll continue to update this article as new deals cycle in. Keep in mind that some of these deals may sell out before Prime Day officially ends tomorrow night, so if you see something you want, you’ll want to scoop it up as soon as possible.

In addition to Amazon’s deals, other retailers like Target, Walmart, and Best Buy are hosting competing anti-Prime Day sales. Every anti-Prime Day sale is live now, so don’t forget to check out GameStop, Walmart, Best Buy, and Target for more deals. Nintendo Switch game deals

Numerous first-party Nintendo Switch deals are on sale for $20 off for Prime Day 2020, including New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe, Splatoon 2, Mario Tennis Aces, and Super Mario Party. Animal Crossing: New Horizons is discounted to $50 at Walmart, which matches the best deal we’ve seen on the wildly popular 2020 hit. There are great deals on third-party Nintendo Switch games too, such as NBA 2K21 for $35.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons

$50 (was $60)

We haven’t seen any deals on the Nintendo Switch or Nintendo Switch Lite just yet. Considering that the Nintendo Switch has been in and out of stock all year, it’s not super surprising. Demand for the Switch is high, and perhaps retailers don’t believe they have to discount the console to get people to pick one up. It is worth noting that if you’re in the market for a Nintendo Switch, the special-edition Animal Crossing console is currently in stock at Amazon.

Nintendo Switch accessory deals

We haven’t seen a ton of Nintendo Switch accessory deals, but you can save on a great third-party controller, microSD cards, and a stylish messenger bag.

PowerA Scorbunny Enhanced Wireless Controller

$40 (was $50)

PowerA Breath of the Wild Messenger Bag

$25 (was $40)

SanDisk Ultra 400GB MicroSD

$45.39 (was $60)

PowerA Hybrid Cover/Stand

$8 (was $30)

Plenty of Nintendo Switch accessories are practically must-haves, including a carrying case, screen protector, microSD card, and extra controllers. First-party Nintendo Switch controllers are generally quite pricey, with a pair of Joy-Con costing $80 and the Switch Pro controller going for $70.

If last year’s Prime Day sale is any indication, you can expect to see some great deals on accessories. Joy-Con were discounted to $60 last year, which is the best price since the Switch launched more than three years ago. Pro controllers were also $20 off at just $50. Hopefully we’ll see both of these deals return. Of course, we’ll also see a ton of third-party accessory deals. If you’re in the market for a carrying case or high-capacity microSD card, you’ll want to check out the deals on Prime Day.

So far, we haven’t seen any deals on first-party controllers or accessories, but you can nab this cool Breath of the Wild-themed Switch cover for $8 (was $30). The foldable cover protects the screen when not in use and also doubles as a stand.

Nintendo Switch Online (family plan) + 128GB microSD card

$40 (was $70)

Amazon’s Switch Online deal bundles the $35 family plan with the officially licensed 128GB SanDisk microSD card (also normally $35). You wind up saving $30 overall, which is a stellar deal.

More Nintendo deals

While Nintendo Switch products are dominating Prime Day for the publisher, they aren’t the only Nintendo-themed deals you can find. We’ll be rounding up all of the best Nintendo toy, merch, and apparel deals here as well. For now, you can get 25% off the brand-new Jenga: Super Mario edition.

Jenga: Super Mario Edition

$15 (was $20)
