Bloodborne 2 won’t be coming to PlayStation 5 any time soon, new rumour suggests

FromSoftware fans, brace yourselves – you may be in for some bad news.

A leaker named Omni, who is infamous over on gaming forum Resetera for their accurate leaks regarding FromSoftware titles, may be about to break your heart.

The leaker, who seems to cite inside sources at the development studio, suggests that Bloodborne 2 is not even in the pipes at the studio and that, should it ever happen, it is still years and years away from release.

"From works on multiple projects all the time. As of right now, [Bloodborne 2] isn't in development or in line to be in development," Omni wrote on ResetEra (via AltChar ).

From Software is already working on Elden Ring – a mysterious collaborative project with Game of Thrones writer George R. R. Martin – and assumedly another project, too.

Omni seems to confirm that nothing in active or pre-development at the studio resemble Bloodborne 2.

Maybe the studio will move onto another game in the Lovecraftian horror world at some point, but for now it seems resources are tied up in existing projects

And that makes sense when you consider Elden Ring is apparently the biggest game From Software has even developed.
