Borderlands 3 Free For Stadia Pro Members This Weekend

Stadia Pro members can loot and shoot to their hearts’ content this weekend, as Borderlands 3 will be free from April 8 until April 12. A Crowd Play giveaway will also take place on April 11, letting some viewers walk away with free codes for Borderlands 3: Ultimate Edition.

If you’ve never tried out Stadia Pro, Google is currently offering new users one free month of the service. Borderlands 3 will drop the Director’s Cut on April 8, making now a great time to check out Stadia Pro and its free offerings. The update will include a new raid boss, a new murder mystery mission, and plenty of new loot.

Beyond the free access to Borderlands 3 this weekend, Stadia Pro offers up a few exclusive games such as Resident Evil 7 biohazard and Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana.

Borderlands 3 first launched in 2019, although it’s remained popular thanks to constant updates and various DLC drops. The Designers Cut was released last year, adding new game modes, enemies, and powerful new loot. The Director’s Cut is hoping to do much the same later this week, keeping the game alive and bringing players back for more mayhem.

Outside of the gaming world, Borderlands continues to put together a star-studded cast list for its upcoming film adaptation. Edgar Ramirez recently joined the movie and will be playing the ultra-powerful Atlas CEO – Deukalian Atlas. He joins a cast that includes Jack Black, Kevin Hart, Cate Blanchett, and Jamie Lee Curtis.

Borderlands 3 will be free for Stadia Pro subscribers from April 8 to April 12.
