Call Of Duty: Warzone already offers 150-player matches, and Infinity Ward is looking to bump that up to 200.
When Call Of Duty: Warzone’s fourth season finally began, it came with a pretty big download size, but the game is only looking to get even bigger.
It’s believed that Infinity Ward are working on incorporating modes that can have up to 200 players at once.
Technically, this isn’t new information. When the battle royale first launched, Infinity Ward stated it was planning to increase the player size to 200, but it hasn’t been talked about since.
Over the weekend, Modern Warfare’s multiplayer was free-to-play for Warzone players. In fact, it still is until 6pm BST today.
Upon starting, players have been met with an introductory message that simply explains what’s available, but one eagle-eyed player spotted something in one of the accompanying images.
DissolveXD on Twitter noticed that, in the background, four as-of-yet unavailable playlists can be seen, named BR 200, Plunder 200, BR Duos, and BR Juggernaut.
BR Juggernaut has already been confirmed to be coming as part of Season 4, so it’s safe to assume that the other three will be included later down the line as well.
The real question is when they will be included. Considering Season 4 only began a few days ago, you’ve still probably got quite a while before you can gather 199 of your friends to play a game of Warzone together.
Call Of Duty: Warzone is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
