GAME is expected to be opening orders for the PS5 once again this week. GAME has already released one PS5 restock for June, and the high street retailer is rumoured to be gearing up for its second stock drop this month. The GAME website says its next batch of PS5 pre-orders have a release date of June 26, with orders expected to open before then.

And according to the @PS5StockAlertUK Twitter, GAME could start taking orders for the PS5 once again on Thursday.

In a recent update the reliable PS5 stock tracker account posted: “Exclusive: GAME is on course to drop PlayStation 5 consoles this Thursday 17th June (9-11am). There is currently no further information on stock count. Both disc and digital editions will be available, with bundles having more availability.”

The GAME PS5 order page has over 30 different purchase options that will be available in the next restock.

Standalone Disc and Digital consoles are listed for purchase as are bundles.

And if you’re looking to secure a PS5 order then your best bet is going after a bundle, as standalone consoles tend to sell out fastest.

Other tips to help you secure a PS5 order with the next GAME restock is to use Guest checkout as that can be quicker than having to sign in to your account.

Also, if you can, using multiple devices to try and order can increase your chances of getting through the queue to purchase a PS5 from GAME.

While Thursday June 17 is the expected PS5 GAME restock date, there are a few caveats to bear in mind.

As the @PS5StockAlertUK Twitter noted: “Please keep in mind that we have been informed things could change if GAME does not send out their current orders from last week on time, causing a delay like we’ve seen two weeks ago however, we believe they’ll successfully send out existing orders and drop this Thursday.”

While in a separate post the PS5 stock tracker account pointed out that stock appears to be being “handled slower” at retailers this week.

This warning comes after a number of expected PS5 restocks missed their rumoured restock date.

The @PS5StockAlertUK Twitter posted: “We have realised the first half of this week hasn’t been what we expected compared to usual.

“Companies seem to be understaffed, and stock seems to be handled slower, in particular for PS5. As always, we’ll keep you updated with the latest whilst you go on with your day!”
