GTA 5 Online Update: 3x Money bonus, Oppressor Mk2, Rampant Rocket car discounts

A brand new GTA Online weekly update has dropped this morning and we're not going to beat around the bush, it's very meager and a bit disappointing.

From what we've seen online, there's no new car, and discounts on the Oppressor Mk2, which is going to make everyone's life a little bit more annoying for the next week.

It's possible more is on the way, we hope anyway. We should learn about the official GTA 5 patch notes from today's update when they're released by Rockstar Games later today on the newswire.

But ahead of time, the games dedicated player base has revealed some of the big changes with this week's new GTA Online weekly patch.

As with most weeks, you're not wrong to assume there's still a new collection of bonuses and discounts in the game as well. But they'll only last for another week until next Thursday's update.

For the full overview of what to expect from this update, take a look below – we'll make sure to keep you updated as soon possible should any more information about the patch comes to light.

GTA Online New vehicle

This week, it's very odd because there doesn't seem to be a new vehicle in the game. At least, that's what we're seeing from the chatter this morning.

There is however a new podium vehicle in the GTA Online Casino to obtain. This week players who spin the casino wheel have the chance of owning the Nagasaki Shotaro.

Here's a quick look at the bike description:

"Nagasaki's spaceflight division is responsible for some of the most stylish and combustible designs ever to crash into the Atlantic. So when the same team put together a motorcycle prototype, you can be sure it'll break rules, skulls and bank accounts from the minute it goes on sale. Note: the production model has had all offensive and defensive capabilities decommissioned, including the energy trail." – Legendary Motorsport description.

The futuristic sports bike is worth $2,225,000 and is one of the most fun vehicles released as part of the Shotaro Week event back in 2016.

And according to the description on the GTA Wiki, its also got a fantastic performance:

"It has an extremely high top speed, marginally surpassing the Hakuchou Drag, while its acceleration and brakes are also lightning fast, as the user can easily take off just as fast as coming to a full stop."

GTA Online Twitch Prime Rewards

At the time of writing, no Twitch Prime or PlayStation Plus bonuses have been announced.

This isn't to say there won't be any, however, it might only be announced during the official newswire later today.

Last week players could get 35% off the RUNE Zhaba as well as an extra 10% discount on the current list of discounts.

Both are fairly regular discounts for Twitch users, so we wouldn't be all that surprised to see the same discounts available this week.

We'll update this page later today should any Twitch Prime or PS Plus bonuses get announced.
