The Joker releases today in Early Access for anyone with the Kombat Pack 1 DLC on Xbox One, PS4, PC and Switch versions of Mortal Kombat 11.
The clown prince of crime is one of the most highly anticipated characters to arrive in the game, joining the likes of Shang Tsung, Nightwolf, Terminator and Sindel as part of the roster expansion given to players in this first wave of downloadable content.
The character, who makes some nice references to the extended DC universe and to his beloved Batman in his interactions with other fighters, has some amazing fatalities (which you can see below).
One is even a nice callback to the ol' Mortal Kombat 'Friendships' you could pull off in MKII that were developed as a response to the outcry over the game's violence back in the day.
Of course, Joker's 'Friendship' is a bit… cheeky.
Joker Fatalities – Mortal Kombat 11
Here's how to perform Joker's fatalities.
It's worth noting that 'Close' means you have to be practically touching your opponent as you input the commands, and 'Mid' means you must be about two backdashes away from them.
You will be able to perform the second move if you input the directions correctly, even if it hasn't been unlocked.
- Party Pooper (Mid) – Down, Forward, Back, [Triangle / Y / 2]
- Pop Goes the Mortal (Mid) – Back, Down, Back, [Square / X / 1]
Take a look at both, just below:
Joker Brutalities – Mortal Kombat 11
If you need a quick refresher:
In Mortal Kombat 11, you can perform a Brutality as an end-of-round move. But it can only be performed before the opponent has been completely knocked out – before all their health has been depleted.
When the opponent is almost beaten, you will need to perform a specific move, special move, or throw and reduce their health to 0 with this move – resulting in a Brutality.
Though we've seen a fair few Joker Brutalities in the various videos we've seen for the new fighter in videos, we're currently at a bit of a loss of how to actually perform his match-ending moves.
Of course, as with all other fighters, you will be able to cleave an enemy's head right off their body – you can find that below, and we will update with more as they become available.
Brutality: The Klassic.
• Input : D+2
• Conditions : Final Hit must come from an Uppercut. Must Hold 2. Cannot block during the Final Round.
