New Super Nintendo World theme park video brings the Mushroom Kingdom to life

The best footage yet of the Super Nintendo World theme park has leaked out and it looks fantastic, despite no news on when it opens.

As always seemed inevitable, the opening date for Super Nintendo World in Japan has been indefinitely postponed because of the coronavirus, but when it does finally open it looks like it’s going to be well worth the wait.

Universal Studios Japan, which the area is a part of, has already reopened but the worry is that Super Nintendo World will be too popular, which we can certainly understand when you see this video.

It also seems to be a very dense design, with a ton of attractions and buildings in a surprisingly small area, which is going to make social distancing difficult.

Whether they’d wait a whole year before opening the park is unclear, which makes it almost impossible to guess when ordinary people might be allowed in.

In the meantime, there’s this video which gives us the best look so far at Bowser’s Castle, as well as moving characters like Yoshi, some Koopa Troopas, and a Piranha Plant.

There’s still no real indication of how any of the rides work though, which will probably require someone actually getting into the area and having a go, rather than just taking videos at long distance.
