Pokemon Unite Datamine Reveals Delphox And Espeon Are Joining The Roster

Pokemon Unite's already jam-packed roster is getting two new additions as a Pokemon Unite dataminer has discovered that Delphox and Espeon will be probably be announced fairly soon. Reliable leaker @ElChicoEevee posted their findings to Twitter earlier today, revealing key art and in-game models of both Espeon and Delphox.

In what is probably unwanted news for Unite players, it has also been revealed that both Espeon and Delphox will be Attackers if the background in the art is anything to go by. Pokemon Unite developer Timi Studio hasn't made any official announcements as of yet, and @ElChicoEevee doesn't mention any potential release date, but seeing as though this new info has been revealed via a datamine, it can't be long until these new additions are made official.

It's also pretty unlikely that we'll see these Pokemon drop together. The last time two new additions were revealed at the same time was the announcement of Mamoswine and Sylveon last year which were released within a week of each other. It's pretty likely the same will apply to Delphox and Espeon.

We've had a bunch of interesting Pokemon stories crop up over the past couple days, including details of Pokemon Go Fest 2022 which were recently announced by Niantic. The event itself will take place From June 4 to June 5 and will allow players to catch certain shinies for the first time in the history of the game, including Pokemon such as Shroomish, Numel, Karrablast, Axew, and Shelmet.

The Pokemon subreddit was also whipped into a frenzy recently, as users have been sharing the Pokemon they feel are the least hated in the series. At the time of writing, Spheal is the Pokemon nobody can bring themselves to despise, although one person is particularly agrieved that the cute little ball gets more love than the bulkier Walrein.

Slowpoke, Snorlax, Cyndaquil, and Growlithe were also discussed pretty heavily, but it's pretty pointless when we all know the correct answer is actually Cubone. Who could hate something with that tragic a backstory?
