PureArts has announced a pair of high-quality replicas from the upcoming Cyberpunk 2077. While a male and female version of the protagonist V will be available, PureArts has only given us a glimpse of the male version so far.
Following up on the wildly successful and acclaimed The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, CD Projekt RED’s foray into the cyberpunk setting has been hotly anticipated. Originally slated for a release next month, the game has been delayed until September, and fans are frothing at the mouth for new content — and though a statue may not be exactly what they are after, it does give us something else to look forward to.
According to the Big Bad Toy Store, the replica is in 1/6 scale and has countless impressive details. The head is hand-painted, with realistic skin texture and Kiroshi Optics. Tailored to the figurine is a leather jacket with blue lights in the collar, a black cotton t-shirt, and high-top black textile sneakers with orange lights on the soles. V wields a Militech M-10AF Lexington and an imposing M2067 Defender. A version of the iconic Mantis blade is also included.
PureArts has been responsible for many incredible video game figures, tackling iconic characters from franchises such as Assassin’s Creed, Dark Souls, and Star Wars. Its emphasis on detail is truly impressive, and the likeness to Cyberpunk 2077’s V is striking. No images have yet been released for the female V figure, but a similar standard can be assumed. Set to release March 20, the figurine is available for $230.
CyberPunk 2077 is currently surrounded by hype and the game will need to deliver similar quality to avoid disappointing fans. Rumors surrounding the delay have sewn doubts as to whether the project can live up to its promises, but overall fan anticipation remains enthusiastic.
CyberPunk 2077 will be available on Xbox One, PS4, Google Stadia, and PC on September 17, 202o.
