Tom Clancy’s The Division 2, Ubisoft and Massive Entertaiment’s tactical shooter from last year, is on sale right now on Amazon. A digital code for the Xbox One version of the game is only $2.99, while the game’s physical version is $19.99.
The Division 2 is a shooter role-playing game hybrid that throws players into Washington D.C. following the collapse of the United States government. Players are tasked with taking the capital back from the factions that have taken over different areas of the city. While you can play The Division 2 alone, it really shines in co-op as you and a squad of friends can complete all of the game’s missions together.
This isn’t the first time The Division 2 has been on sale. It’s been discounted multiple times since its release in March 2019. While all these discounts can help players get the base game for a lower price, they don’t include the numerous DLC episodes that have been released for the game. So far, there have been four DLC packs with the latest coming out in early March.
Warlords of New York brings The Division 2’s agents from the familiar territory of Washington D.C. to New York, the setting of the original game. Players have to fight through Lower Manhattan as the cities factions have all been united under the leadership of Aaron Keener, the villain from the first Division game.
If players want to pick up the Warlords of New York expansion along with the game, it will cost an extra $29.99 through Amazon.
As for the other versions of the game, Amazon doesn’t have a listed offering for the PlayStation 4 digital code at the moment. But PC players can get the game for just $9.89 on the Epic Games Store right now. It isn’t exactly the $2.99 price tag of the Xbox One version, but it’s still about 67% off the normal PC price of $29.99.
Xbox One X
With the next generation of Xbox on the horizon, Microsoft’s 4K-ready Xbox One X is often on sale for much lower than its $499 launch price.
